Oral and Dental Health Campaign for Primary Schools’ Students in Majmaa
In an attempt to raise the awareness of oral and dental health among primary school students and the community at large, the medical service team launched a campaign targeting primary school students in Majmaah. The campaign aimed to spread the awareness of oral and dental cleanliness in addition to the prevention of tooth decay. Under the supervision of Dr. Waleed Al-Hweiti, a group of medical cadres participated in this program through setting up a poster at the school entrance illustrating the significance of healthy food for the healthy teeth. Additionally, a short lecture about oral and dental health was given and a jaw model was used to show the appropriate way of using the toothbrush. After distributing gifts to students, the school principle thanked the medical team for their efforts in community service
