TRAINING COURSES OFFERED BY DEANSHIP OF GRADUATE STUDIES TO GRADUATE STUDENTS

Within the framework of its executive plan for the first semester of the academic year 1442 AH, and at the request of MU rector, Dr. Khalid al-Muqren, and the follow-up of the vice-rector, Dr. Ahmed al-Rumaih, the Deanship of Graduate Studies has completed offering a series of virtual courses to graduate students.

Presented by a group of excellent faculty members, the seven courses addressed the skills necessary for students in writing their research.

The courses offered during the first semester are:

“Documentation in Research” presented by Prof. Mahmoud Jaber

“Requirements for publishing in journals” presented by Dr. Mohammed al-Harbi

“Design and Analysis of surveys” presented by Dr. Mohammed Waly

“Research between theory and practice” presented by Dr. Fahad al-Manea

“Skills of using Saudi Digital Library for academic research.” Presented by Dr. Asma al-Zahrani 

“How to design e-surveys” presented by Dr. Nouf al-Mutairi

“How to write citations and references” presented by Dr. Rana al-Abdan

A large number of students attended the courses, which motivated the deanship to offer more courses during the second semester.

The dean of Graduate Studies, Prof. Abdullah al-Suwaiket, extended his thanks to MU rector and vice-rector for graduate studies and scientific research for their support.

Special thanks were also expressed to trainers to present the courses as well as to trainees for sparing some of their time to attend the courses.
