Under the patronage of MU rector, Prof. Saleh Al-Mezal, and in the presence of the Head of the Hawtat Sudair Center, Mr. Fahd Al-Zakri, vice-rectors, deans, directors of government sectors, faculty members, and students, MU held the opening ceremony of the College of Nursing in Hawtat Sudair.
The ceremony began with a recitation of the Holy Quran, followed a speech delivered by the student Fahad Al-Anizi, who expressed happiness for the launch of this academic edifice, which is a turning point in the history of the university.
A presentation was showed by the Dean of the College of Nursing, Dr. Ashwaq Asiri, about the college's stages of establishing, highlighting its departments, specializations and programs as well as its future goals and aspirations.
The rector then honored the Head of Hawtat Sudair Center, Mr. Al-Zakri, along with the departments cooperating with the college and members of the founding committee.
At the end of the ceremony, commemorative photos were taken on this occasion with the rector of the University.
