A training program of United Nations sustainable development goals into action was conducted at Majmaah University (MU) which was an initiative by the Social Responsibility Observatory (SRO) in collaboration with the General Administration of Administrative and Financial Affairs, Deanship of Quality and Skills Development and the General Administration of Development. Supervisor of SRO at MU, Dr. Faisal Al-Mutairi, described conducting the program as an evidence of the university interest to bring the strategic objectives concerning the activation of the Kingdom’s role with regard to UN goals into action. The 4-day program is exceptional with selective target groups who are interested in sustainable development. A number of topics are expected to be addressed in the program including the concept of sustainable development, UN sustainable development goals, methods of measuring and writing sustainable development reports, reviewing participants’ initiatives, how UN sustainable development goals and the Kingdom vision 2030 can be in harmony. The program is scheduled to be conducted twice; the first one will be held in Majmaah while the other one will take place at the colleges’ complex in Zulfi.
