Within the framework of the ongoing follow-up carried out by the Vice-Rectors’s Office for Educational Affairs, the Student Support Unit and Alumni Affairs organized on Tuesday a workshop entitled: “The Efficiency and Development of Academic Guidance"in the main hall at the Vice-Rector’s Office. The workshop was under the supervision of Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ahmed bin Ali Romaih, and in the presence of heads of the Student Support Units in all colleges. The workshop began with a welcoming statement delivered by the supervisor of the Vice Rector’s Office for Educational Affairs, Dr. Essam bin Sharaf Maliki , followed by a review and discussion of the workshop themes, including : “ Academic Guidance between implementation and expectations”, “What the Student Support Unit is looking forward to in the Coming Period”, in addition to the focus on the operational plans for Student Support Units. The Vice Rector for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ahmed bin Ali Romaih, expressed his gratitude to all attendees who enriched the workshop with their proposals and ideas, stressing the important role played by the Vice Rector for Educational Affairs in achieving the objectives of the Vice-Rector’s Office through its units in the colleges. The workshop was concluded with an open discussion, and the recommendations were documented.
