Dr. Al-Rumaih Hands Certificates to more than 75 Trainers
Under the guidance of MU Rector Dr. Khalid S. Al-Muqren, the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs Dr. Ahmed A. Al-Rumaih sponsored the concluding celebration of the training program "Learning Outcomes Measurements" which the university held in cooperation with Education Evaluation Commission on Wednesday 11th Jamadah Al-Awwal, 1438H The two-day training program was presented by the Education Evaluation Commission Advisers Dr. Mohammed Al-Madani and Dr. Hanan Al-Olyan at the Deanship of Quality and Skill Development's training hall in the campus, and the training hall at the female students' building through live broadcast. The intensive training program targeted officials of quality at colleges and the faculty members. The program discussed crucial scientific themes that aim at raising the level of awareness toward more effective implementation of quality in learning that lead to the desired educational outcomes. The program reviewed evaluation stages including planning, implementation, measurement and analyzing. It also discussed developing and drafting the final report and ensuring the continuity of the evaluation in accordance with timetables based on specific mission and goals, in addition to discussing some of the university's learning outcomes models. At the end of the training program, the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumail delivered a speech thanking those in charge of the program, and assured the university keenness and responsibility to achieve quality requirements and continuous improvement of the whole performance and outcomes in compliance with the university's vision and mission. After that the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs rewarded all the participants and handed the trainees Certificates of Attendance. Dr. Al-Rumaih stated that beneficiaries of the program were over 50 male trainees and 25 female trainees, and that the registration included the material which was accessible to all faculty members through E-learning program D2L. Dr. Al-Rumaih assured that MU gave prominence to raising the efficiency of its staff. He added that this training program is part of the university's upgrading plan for institutional accreditation which is supported by the MU Rector Dr. Khalid Bin Saad Al-Muqren. The Dean of Quality and Skills Development Dr. Mohammed S. Al-Abody expressed his thanks and appreciation to MU Rector for his continuous support to all developmental activities in the university to achieve its strategic goals. He also thanked MU Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs for his continued presence and follow up to overcome all difficulties and obstacles to achieve the desired goals, and implementation of plans and programs in a manner that enhances the university success and excellence
