Under the auspices of the University Rector DR. Khaled Sa'ad Almuqrin, the University vice Presidency for Educational Affairs organized an introduction meeting for the university teaching staff on Sunday 1/12/1434 corresponding with 6/10/2013 in the university theater located in the University City. The meeting aimed to acquaint the teaching staff with the activities and services of the University Deanships and the various administrations. Also, there was an attempt to know the suggestions and viewpoints of the university teaching staff in order to develop the educational process and advance the level of academic performance of teaching staff members. Moreover, there will be room for spreading the culture of excellence and creativity of academic performance.
The celebration started with some verses from the Noble Qura'an. This was followed by the speech of the University vice President for Educational Affairs Prof. Dr. Mohammad Othman Alrokban in which he welcomed the teaching staff and congratulated them on the new academic year stressing on the fact the success and development of the university is based upon the qualifications and credentials of the teaching staff. Later on, a session was held by Dr. Faisal Faraj Almuteiri that centered over the role of the university vice presidency for educational affairs and affiliated units in supporting and developing the educational and learning process. On the other hand, the second session, headed by Dr. Abdullah Awwad Alharbi, discussed the role of other Deanships in the University in supporting and developing the educational and learning processes and introducing their services. The meeting was concluded with an open discussion with his highness the University Rector and in the presence of the University vice President for Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Mohammad Abdullah Alshaye'a. The open discussion was headed by his Excellency the University vice President for Educational Affairs. In the end, his Highness the University Rector commended the exerted efforts by everybody and he answered some inquiries related to the teaching staff affairs.
