MU Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih, launched a campaign organized by the Office of the Dean for Student Affairs in collaboration with the Saudi Stem Cell Donor Registry. The aim of the campaign is raise students and community members’ awareness and to establish a database of stem cell donors for patients who are diagnosed with cancer – patients who need to have stem cells transplanted in their bodies -, genetic blood disorder and inherited immunodeficiency diseases. Dr. Al-Rumaih expressed his happiness with this outstanding work and extended his thanks for both Saudi Stem Cell Donor Registry and the voluntary team at the university. The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Khalid Al-Ofaisan, noted that such campaigns contribute to fulfilling the goals of the Dean’s Office to serve the students and community members. He extended his thanks to both MU Rector Dr. Al-Mugren and Dr. Al-Rumaih for their support and follow-up. The campaign will take place at Majmaah mall from 4.00 pm to 9.00 pm.
