The Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih, received in his office a report on the first forum of Entrepreneurship held at the College of Science and Humanities at Majmaah University. The forum aimed to contribute to the Kingdom's efforts in educational and training investment, to provide the target groups with necessary skills and knowledge meet the needs of the labor market, to spread the culture of entrepreneurship, to promote the social responsibility of universities towards entrepreneurship, spot light on the status of entrepreneurship in Saudi Arabia and its importance for knowledge-based economy, as well as its impact in supporting national development and economy. Several research papers were presented along with reviews of successful experiences of entrepreneurs with experts and speakers interested in entrepreneurship in the Kingdom. Other activities have also taken place such as training courses and workshops conducted with the participation of 12 parties from outside the University. A number of recommendations were made in the report which was submitted during a visit paid to the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs Dr. Al-Rumaih by the Dean of the College of Science and Humanities, Dr. Bandar bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Yahya along with a few department heads. Dr. Al Rumaih commended the efforts of the College of Science and Humanities and its staff members to achieve its objectives, noting meanwhile the support of the Rector of all activities at the College.
