The Unit of Local Development Programs at the Social Responsibility Observatory (Marsad)-concerned with serving a large scale of communities within the scope of Majmaah University- launched the first stage of Mosque custodianship in coordination with the Directorate of Islamic Affairs and Mosques in Majmaah. A group of students cleaned some mosques in the region according to the Unit’s plan. “We are proud of such initiatives by students,” the Vice-rector stated. “and that pride comes from the targets of the project themselves as houses of worship,” he added. Dr. A-Dosari stressed that such initiatives aimed through these projects to clean all the mosques located in the geographical scope of the University in coordination with the relative government bodies. “Another goal is to support the voluntary actions initiated by the University students in their attempts to serve their communities,” he stated. Showing appreciation to the teams and wishing them success in their services, the Vice-rector thanked the University Rector for his unlimited support of community service programs.
