A delegation from Shaqraa University led by Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Ghamdi visited Majmaah University for the purpose of viewing the Technical,electronic and constructive projects of the university and its adopted qualitative initiatives. The visit included several destinations. It began with a meeting with HE the Vice Rector Dr. Musallam bin Mohammed Al-Dosari and the Dean of Computer and Information College Dr. Hisham bin Mohamed Al-Saghir and the Dean of Information Technology Dr. Omar bin Mohammed Al-Mutaihi and the supervisor assistant of the Rector's Office Dr. Abdulaziz AL-Rashoud. HE the Vice Rector welcomed The delegation of Shaqraa University. The meeting included viewing the most prominent electronic transactions at the university which had a deep impact on dispensing paper transactions, and in this context, HE the Vice Rector made a presentation on the System of Committees and Councils and its qualitative shift under the geographical distance between the colleges of the university at majmaah, Zulfi Hawtat Sudair, Ghat and Rummaah. And then, the Administrative Communications and the electronic archiving and workflow procedures projects were produced by the project manager Mr. Mohammed Al-Aulah. Later on, the delegation visited the Deanship of Information Technology and it was briefed on the huge efforts in the unit systems, programming and university data centre.The delegation went to the College of Computer and Information Sciences, where the Dean of the College presented the experiences of the college since its establishment. Then, the delegation headed to the Project Management Office where and viewed the project management system (PMO) and the functioning mechanism of the project management system and aspects that are supported by offered services.After then, the delegation visited the training bus of e-learning community campus where it was met by Vice Dean of Community Service Dr. Adel Al-Maghzawi who produced from them what has been done and the impressive results for training the region students and staff. Later on, the delegation went to the training laboratory at the Deanship of e-learning and distance learning to see what it has of the integrated facilities. The delegation listened to a presentation by the Director of Training unit about the Deanship role in training on the various processes of e-learning and the way to apply for courses through the electronic system and printing the certificate electronically at any time by the trainees. At the end of the visit everyone had lunch at the campus hospitality lounge, and the delegation was honoured memorial souvenirs and pictures were taken. In this regard, HE the Vice Rector expressed his thanks to the public relations department at the university for the warm welcome, organisation and follow-up for this visit, explaining that such organised efforts reflect a true picture of the university and what it has of distinct and professional competencies in all business levels.
