Preparations for the university shuttle services were completed to serve female students who wish to be transported from their homes to the different colleges. Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, Vice-Rector, paid an inspection visit to the shuttle buses to ensure that they can operate effectively. Upon arrival, Prof. Al-Dosari was welcomed by the Supervisor of the General Department of Services, Mr. Moteb Al-Maymoni and some officials of the transportation department who escorted him in a field visit to the shuttle buses where he met the drivers and was briefed about the plan of the new year. The vice-rector also inspected the plans of digital units via the risk management platform. Prof. Al-Dosari commended the efforts exerted by staff at the General Department of Services to ensure the shuttle buses are ready to operate for the next year after students complete booking their seats via the e-transportation system. Approximately 6127 students have applied to avail themselves of the service who will be transported on daily basis from cities and suburbs to their colleges. The service will also include transporting intern students to centers and schools as well as students with disability. The Vice-Dean extended his thanks to MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren for his follow-up of the transportation services and his concern to expand it to serve 80 centers and more than 50 residential areas in Majmaah, Zulfi, Ghat, Remah and Hawtat Sudair.
