The Preparatory Committee for construction projects in its new formation, held its 1st meeting for the academic year 1436 in charge of HE the Vice Rector Dr. Musallamm bin Mohammed Al-Dosari, and the presence of all members.
The Committee reviewed its agenda which included several topics; firstly the discussion of the suggesting by the Dean of the medical college to construct an academic building in coordination with King Khalid Hospital at Majmaah, the discussion of this topic was attended by Dean of the the medical college Dr. Khalid Al-bdulwahhab, and the administrative and technical requirements of the project were clarified.
Also, the committee was informed of the Minister of Higher Education letter about the 6th installment to address female colleges conditions requests, the Committee reviewed the letter received from the Control and Investigation Authority about observations on some rented buildings by the University where the members reviewed what to in this regard and the need of Project Management and Technical Affairs consideration to the content the University statement.
Also, the Committee reviewed the reports of construction projects progression and its related priorities and future needs of its technical requirements, especially with regard to the requirements of laboratories, and considering the urgent buildings of female colleges at Majmaah , Ghat and Hawtat Sudair.
