In light of the cooperation between Social Responsibility (Marsad) at MU and the Female Social Development Committee in Riyadh, a scientific workshop, promoted by Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz Chair for moral values at King Abdul Aziz University was held in accordance with the development efforts undertaken by the University for the advancement of women in the provinces located in its geographic scope. “The workshop, which took place at female student’s compound, aimed to promote the moral values among women in Saudi Arabia, particularly in the provinces located in the University geographic scope, Dr. Musallam Al-Dosari- Vice-Rector and Chairman of Marsad, stated. “A large number of women have attended the workshop, which indicated the interest of women in the programs and activities offered to them.” Said Dr. Al-Dosari. This huge demand by women would encourage the Committee to pursue such projects, which are deemed pioneering. Added Dr. Al-Dosari. Moreover, he expressed his admiration of the integration of all government institutions concerned with such development, which was also reflected in that workshop through the complementary action between the university and the chair, as well as the Commission. Dr. Dosari also added that, “Cooperation and integration among all these institutions was transparent during the implementation of the workshop out of social responsibility. He went on to stress the importance of such partnerships between the university and the Women's Committee for Community Development in Riyadh region, which is of great importance to the University Recto, Her Majesty, Princess Nora Al-Saud, and the Prince of Riyadh, Prince Faisal bin Bandar Al-Saud.
Dr. Dosari reaffirmed that the partnership would continue providing the activities and programs for women and family in Riyadh and throughout the Kingdom in general. “These programs wouldn’t be without the unlimited support of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz, his Crown-prince, Prince Muhammad bin Naïf and his Deputy-crown prince, Prince Muhammad bin Salman to all development institutions around the country.
