Fighting Drugs Program
Under the auspices of the Department of Student Affairs, Advisory and student rights Unit held an educational program organized by both the National Committee of Fighting Drugs and Al-Amal Complex in Riyadh along with the accompanying exhibition on Thursday, 28/02/1437 at 10:00 am in the college. The program which was coordinated by Ms. Reem Al-Muteiri, started with a presentation about the National Project for Fighting Drugs (Nebras). Several speakers gave talks at the program. First, Ms. Roa'a Al-Shweir talked about the effect of drugs on the brain followed by a speech for Ms. Mona Al-Shirbini, Director of the Female Section at the Department in Riyadh about the importance of family protection of young teenagers. another speech was given by Ms. Haya Al-Otaibi on the ways of dealing with teens. Finally, Ms. Ibtisam Al-Qarni- Director of the Female Section- concluded by talking about the way to change behavior and resolving conflicts. Several brochures and pamphlets about the program were distributed during the sessions, and various questions from the audience were answered. The accompanying exhibition was opened all day, and Ms. Asmaa Yusuf was available to answer the inquiries that might be asked by visitors. At the end of the program, Ms. Mona Al-Fawzan -Vice-dean for Student Affairs- thanked the delegation of the National Committee of Fighting Drugs for their efforts in serving individuals and community.
