College Of Education In Celebration Of Its Fresh Students

College of Education- in Majmaah- in celebration of its male and female fresh students for the first academic semester of the academic year 1435/1436 H. The events were varied for this occasion, Dean of the College has initiated these events by congratulating and welcoming the fresh students, urging them to diligence and academic achievement, and inducting them with the systems of the university and its regulations, and what they do have of rights and their duties towards the university. He also talked about the jobs opportunities that can be obtained by graduates of the College, in future as a service for themselves, and as an allegiance to their dear homeland and their King as well, especially if their averages are high. After that, Vice Dean for Educational Affairs delivered a speech stressing on the importance of education and its role in serving the community, explaining to students the system of study in the College, and pointing to the importance of the Dean's speech. Then followed by a speech of Vice Dean for Student Affairs, who clearly showed the fresh students issues that relate to study in the Scientific Departments, their systems, and methods of recreational, social, and sports activities, and how to utilize of them and pay much attention to the educational attainment and excellence together with these activities. Then the Secretary of Activity presented the plan of the College in regards to the student activities for this year, urging the students to participate in these activities. Then he introduced Heads of Departments, students, to their Departments and the general plan of the curriculum as well as the members of teaching staff of each Department urging all students to interact with their Academic Counselor in order to solve their problems, and to overcome the obstacles that will face them, whether educational ones or others. Then the Academic Counselor in the Department talked about the academic guidance and its positive role in improving the educational process and developing it as well, urging students to access the portal of the University, showing them how to calculate their quarterly and cumulative averages, and the need to follow up their lectures, and to emulate their professors, requesting students to try to utilize of them educationally and ethically, and wishing everyone success and progress. At the end of the meeting, the speech was given to the fresh students, and who attended from alumni; to ask questions or inquiries about the issues that relate to study and its regulations, thus all raised questions have been answered with clarity and transparency in order to strengthen the principle of setting a good example for our students. Hence, a page is designed in the portal that contained the most prominent regulations needed by the student, and the general plans of the Academic Departments. Allah is the guide to either way.
