“The Role of Faculty members in Raising Students’ Intellectual Awareness”

The Intellectual Awareness Unit at the College of Science in Zulfi conducted a course entitled “The Role of Faculty members in Raising Students’ Intellectual Awareness”.
Presented by the Vice-Dean of College of Science and Humanities in Hawtat Sudair, Dr. Nora Al-Shehri in the presence of the Vice-Dean Dr. Muna Al-Helafy and the Vice-Dean for Educational Affairs, Dr. Muna Al-Fawzan as well as coordinators of intellectual awareness units, the course address the follow themes:
- Importance of intellectual awareness among students
- How to utilize critical thinking in raising intellectual awareness
- Strategies of improving critical thinking skills
- Obstacles to raise intellectual awareness
- Role of Faculty members in Raising Students’ Intellectual Awareness
The idea of conducting this lecture emanated from the primary role that the university should play in protecting youths and raise their awareness against deviated ideologies.
