Fifth Seminar of Computer Science and Information Department for Academic Year 1440-1441

In line with the series of seminars held during the academic year 1440/1441, the fifth seminar was conducted in the presence of the Head of the Department, Dr. Fayez Al-Fayez and faculty members.
The seminar which was presented by Dr. Riyadh Al-Meshrafi is titled “Facial behavior analysis for clinical applications”.
Dr. Al-Meshrafi talked about the methods of observing the face of the patient and analyzing the behavior of the face to monitor the severity of the disease as some of the chronic and progressive diseases, such as Parkinson's disease and schizophrenia, with the poor facial expressions. He also talked about a research project aimed at drawing conclusions from methods used to observe facial features that are associated with the severity of the disease. This will help in providing more useful information in clinical assessments.
