Head of Math Department Meeting with Faculty members

Within the framework of the Department of Mathematics’ preparation to motivate students and faculty members with the beginning of new semester, the head of Mathematics Department, Dr. Zeyad Al-Hussein, conducted a meeting with faculty members.
Welcoming scholarship-faculty who finished their studies and new faculty members, Dr. Al-Hussein briefed them about department’s history, achievements, vision, mission and goals.
Dr. Al-Hussein also highlighted the role of faculty members with regard to teaching, research and community service followed by demonstrating the new structure of committees in the department.
He concluded his talk by saying that the department strives to obtain the program-based accreditation after being selected by the university admonition, along with other departments.
