A Meeting by Computer Science Department on how to activate distance learning

Given the current pandemic and in line with the precautionary measures placed by the Ministry of Education to fight against corona virus, the Department of Computer Science and Information conducted a meeting chaired by the head of the department, Dr. Fayez Al-Fayez to discuss the potentials of activating distance learning.
A consensus was reached to use the blackboard system for delivering the lectures based on the timetable set before class suspension. Attendance should be taken, and lecturers were motivated to provide students with materials for study like videos and PowerPoint slides.
At the end of the meeting, a workshop was conducted by the head of e-learning committee, Dr. Mohammed Wajeeh to answer faculty members’ questions of how virtual classes operate using the blackboard system.
