A graduate of the Computer Science Department, Ms. Hessah Al-Shala’ani held a workshop to prepare students who are expected to take part in the National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity (NOSC).
The workshop, which is part of the works carried out by the Alumni Affairs Unit and in collaboration with the Department of Education in Zulfi, addressed several important topics including the concept of scientific project, steps of planning and carrying out a scientific research and strategies of writing a research proposal.
Al-Shala’ani shared her experience of carrying out the graduation project and her participation in the NOSC held in 2018.
The National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity is an annual national competition that celebrates scientific innovation. Organized by King Abdul Aziz and his Companions for Giftedness and Creativity in collaboration with the Department of Education, the completion accepts scientific projects which are evaluated by academicians and experts based on rigorous criteria.
