The College celebrates World Diabetes Day

Under the follow up of the Dean of College of Science and Humanities in Ghat Dr. Omer bin Mohammed Al Omar, and the supervision of the College Vice-Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Shaweesh, a seminar was conducted about diabetes on the occasion of World Diabetes Day.
The seminar was held in collaboration with Prince Naser bin Saed Al Sedairi Hospital in Ghat and was presented by Dr. Abdulsttar Qassem Omer and a team from the Hospital.
The medical team distributed brochures on diabetes, and tested sugar level of some attendees.
At the end of the program, the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research and the Head of Community Service Unit Dr. Anwar Al-Jabali handed a shield to the Unit of Health Awareness, and certificates of thanks and appreciation to the co-medical team.
The Dean extended his thanks to the Hospital Director Mr. Suleiman Al Taweel, the Director of Health Awareness Unit at the hospital Mr. Abdulrahman Al Omar, the accompanied medical team, and the college’s Community Service Unit for organizing the program.
