The Department of Primary Nursing Care at the College of Nursing is the cornerstone to qualify nursing staff to provide integrated health care. This department aims to develop students' practical and theoretical skills to allow them to meet the basic needs of patients and enhance their safety and comfort.
This includes learning effective communication skills, providing psychological and moral support to patients, and understanding the basic principles of nursing care such as patient care, infection control, and familiarity with various nursing procedures such as wound care and pain management. The department also focuses on training students to face different challenges in diverse health care environments and to inculcate a sense of initiative and leadership, an act that will contribute to improving the quality of health care in the community and developing the nursing profession.
