A decree was issued by His Excellency, the university Rector, Dr. Khalid Al Moqrin. It concerns the appointment of Dr. Al Rakban as Vice Rector for Academic Affairs. It was done in accordance with the approval of His Excellency, the Minister of Higher Education, President of the University Board. Dr. Al Rakban is one of the outstanding and administrative academics at the university. His Excellency has a good record of unique performance and dedicated academic activities. He has various contributions up lift of the university. Moreover, His Excellency is the Dean of the College of Medicine and the Director of the Medical services.
Dr. Rakban thanked the Rector of the University for his trust and he promised to work hard with his colleagues for the best of the university. His Excellency exclaimed that he and his colleagues will work hard to develop the university in all respects, particularly academically and scientifically by developing the curriculum and educational process in order to produce highly, equipped and well-trained male and female students who can address the challenges of the competitive labor market. All this will be accomplished by the follow up and supervision of His Excellency, the University Rector who planned, exerted efforts, worked hard and encouraged all those who work the best of the university. Consequently, this policy yields considerable achievements and success in a lot of respects. The university achievement accords with the vision of Ministry of Higher Education and His Highness, The Custodian of the Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz Bin Saud's vision and expectation.
