18th Seminar of Computer Science and Information Department held virtually

In the presence of Dr. Fayez Al-Fayez, Head of Computer Science and Information Department, the 18th seminar, for the Academic Year 1440-1441 AH, was held virtually using the blackboard system.
Presented by Dr. Adel Thaljawi, the title of the seminar is “Limit Equilibrium Based Landslide Prediction System Using WSN ”.
The seminar focused on proposing a system designed around special sensors that capture each real time change in the soil of the studied field. It explores landslides and their behavior in order to take appropriate protective measures before they happen and to mitigate their destructive effects.
A Q&A session was conducted for faculty members which was very informative.
