The Center of Publication and Translation held a workshop entitled: “The Mechanism of Publication and Translation in Almajma’ah University” in the theater of Colleges Complex in Alzulfi. The workshop began with a speech by Prof. Dr. Ahmad Salem, the director of the center in which he spoke on the center and its objectives, the type of scientific articles and books the center is concerned with, the standards of books the center is interested in, the author’s rights upon agreement on publishing books, the university rights, mechanism of publishing a book as well as advertising for a book making it available in international book affairs. Then, he mentioned the required documents for publishing a specialized book or a text book, the procedures of authoring and publishing books in the university as well as translation procedures. Afterwards, he discussed the journals, scientific periodicals that the center publishes. Then, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Salem replied to questions and suggestions made by the teaching staff. At the end of the workshop, Dr. Rashed Althinayyan offered thanks to University vice Presidency for Higher Studies and Scientific Research, represented by the Center of Publication and Translation for their efforts on introducing the center and the services it offers.
