A delegation from the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Learning has visited the Faculty of Science in Zulfi. This visit came in the framework of the deanship’s plan for activating the D2L system. The delegation was headed by the Vice Dean of Educational Affairs, Dr. Khaled Al-Medabry; Dr. Mohammed Naim, Mr. Kamal Samida and Eng. Mohamed Jihad. It received by His Excellency the Dean of the College of Science, Dr. Mohammed Bin Saleh Al-Ebody; Their Excellencies the vice deans of the College; the Director of the E-learning Unit and the certified trainers at the College. At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the Vice Dean of E-learning and Distance Learning, Dr. Khalid Al-Medabry, praised the College of Science for its effective role in the activation of the D2L system, urging the College to continue this excellence. Moreover, Mr. Kamal Samida, a certified trainer at the deanship, presented the Deanship experience in the activation of the system, which relies on creating an interactive environment among faculty members by creating a virtual course that includes all the faculty members, divided according to their departments; then, the instructor of the course develops exercises and activities to help faculty members activate the system tools, with each faculty member implementing the tasks assigned to him, and being assessed by the Dean or Vice Dean of the Educational Affairs, or the E-learning Unit Director at the end of the academic year.
