The Forth Forum of Research Groups in Department of Computer Sciences and Information

Department of Computer Sciences and Information held the forth scientific forum for the research groups in the presence of the head of the research groups and the members of Department of Computer Sciences and Information. In this forum, Dr. Hassan Ali presented a brief on the research idea that is related to the group of information security. The forum was entitled: “Digital Watermarking Scheme for Vector Maps”. The subject was centered on designing a security system that protects the geographic information (maps). In fact, this proposed system provides a protection scheme that treats four security axes: (1) protecting data from change; (2) data Integrity & Authentication; (3) data copyright; (4) finger printing authentication.
