As per directives of his Excellency the Dean of Faculty of Sciences Dr. Mohammad Saleh Aloboudi that stress the importance of activating the electronic learning system (D2L), the electronic learning unit in the faculty asked the teaching staff in the varied faculty departments to activate the system and upload all the educational content of all the text-books. Five teaching staff were selected from every department to follow-up their activities on the system so new five member will be chosen on a weekly basis. The unit has held the first meeting in the presence of his excellency the faculty vice Dean for Quality Dr. Mufawwaz Alharbi, his Excellency Dr. Mustafa Iraqi (the director of electronic learning unit in the faculty) as well as the coordinators of electronic learning in the departments with teaching staff members that have been selected to upload the educational content as the first stage for activating the system. In fact, each member displayed the educational content for the text-books and they agreed upon completing the activation of other system tools. Moreover, another group was selected of the teaching staff activate their courses after discussing them with the unit in the coming meeting which is to be held nextt week to make sure all the teaching staff have activated the system completely, discussing the obstacles that may face the teaching staff as well as the students in dealing with the system.
