The Vice-Dean’s Office for Student Affairs has held an orientation meeting to welcome freshmen students and introduce them to the new academic life. The meeting began by a recitation of the holy Quran followed by a speech given by the vice-dean, Ms. Muneeba Al-Turaiqi who explained a number of matters related to new students in their future academic endeavor.
Coordinators of departments at the college have told students how necessary it is for students to be in contact with their lecturers and academic advisors during their office hours.
The coordinator of educational affairs highlighted the primary role of the vice-dean’s office for educational affairs including how a timetable is set. The coordinator of e-learning unit stressed the significance of e-learning system and the fact that it is the online courses that are likely to improve the students’ skills of the e-learning system.
The coordinator of student affairs presented the wide-ranging of extra curricula activities provided by the college as well as their vital importance in honing students’ skills. The library secretary explained to students the way of registering at the digital library and the various services offered by the library. The student support unit explicated, at the end, the mechanism of early registration using the calendar as a guide.
