As the Faculty is seeking to do its great role which is serving the society, the training and society service unit in Faculty of Sciences held a seminar on the general principles of medicine that is based on proofs and their demonstrations on Tuesday 21/11/1434 -1/10/2013. The seminar was attended by a number of teaching staff from Department of Medical Laboratories and some visiting doctors and researchers from outside the faculty. The seminar was presented by Dr. Mishal Khaled Alfineisan, the manager of training and society service unit in the Faculty.
The seminar contained a number of important axes such as defining medicine that is based upon proofs and why such type of medicine must be taught and practiced in various health fields, detailed explanation about the manner in which research could be conducted in scientific areas and evaluating it and using is as a proof to present it later as a way of diagnosing patients or treating them.
At the end of the seminar, some questions were raised and different points of views were discussed by the attendees. Then, Faculty of Sciences, represented by training and society service unit, extended thanks to all the attendees for their interaction and participation.
