Student Advisory Board of Sciences College is Convened

The Student Advisory Board of Sciences College at Al Zulfi held its first meeting for the academic year 1436-1437 AH, under the supervision of the faculty’s Dean Dr. Mohammad Bin Salah Al Aboodi and with the presence of Dr. Ziad Bin Ali Al Hussein, Vice Dean for the Student affairs and the members of the Students’ council. The meeting discussed the topics on the council’s agenda which focused on a number of issues regarding the faculty’s member assessment, subjects on the smart blackboard, as well as topics related to the classes’ academic plans, field training and the overall cleanness of the faculty’s halls and laboratories. The meeting also discussed the extra-curricular activities and students’ participation in them as well as other topics on the student’s ways of advertisement and the necessity to provide them with games they can practice during their leisure time in the faculty. The conversation also touched on the topic of summer semester. The students asked the faculty to organize it so it would help some of them to pass some courses in which they failed during the year. A number of recommendations were issued to enrich the students’ different orientations and engaging them in the process of decision-making which would benefit them and their fellows. At the end of the meeting, the members of the Council paid tribute to the Collge’s achievements during this semester. The Council’s president also gave thanks to all the members of the Advisory Board for their efforts to support the faculty’s achievements and urged them to report what was discussed at this meeting to their fellow college students.
