Within the framework of the efforts made by the Department of Computer Science and Information to engage students into the educational process, the first meeting of the Student Council was chaired by the head of the department, Dr. Fayez Al-Fayez in the presence of all members.
Launched by a welcoming speech to students, Dr. Al-Fayez highlighted the importance of student council meetings for discussing students’ suggestions and feedback, motivating students to be diligent and work hard to excel in their academic study.
The meeting also addressed academic courses in fields such as English language, programming, mathematics and networking that equip students with essential skills of high demand during academic life and after graduation.
Among the topics discussed in the meeting were also seeking accommodation for students who are strangers, the necessity of changing the time of lectures that start after 4 pm, updating laboratories’ software and other topics related to the innovation center.
