Workshop for Department Mission Update

Among the efforts of the Mathematics Department to obtain academic accreditation for its programs, a workshop was held in the panel discussion hall to update the mission statement of the department.
The workshop, presented by Dr. Ahmed Almasra -Unit Coordinator of Academic Accreditation- to the faculty members and a group of students, addressed the department mission and its importance showing examples of mission statements from other universities in comparison with the previous one of the department.
At the end of the workshop, it was suggested that the current mission statement need to be modified followed by a vote on the proposed samples.
