The Students Affairs Deputy-ship at College of Science in Zulfi held the 1st faculty meeting this semester about the academic advising and the approaches of assessing faculty. The meeting was attended by Dr. Mohammad Bin Saleh Al-Obodi, Dean of Science College in Zulfi, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Wael Bin Hammoud Al Tureqi, Dr. Yosry Azzam, the Director of advising and Student Rights Unit as well as heads of academic departments and faculty. In the Dean's speech, he talked about the urgent need to use the program of academic advising in the College to ensure the excellency of students, and the role of the academic advising for each course where each instructor is the guide of his students. He also confirmed on filling the forms of Vice Rectorship for Academic Affairs including tracking performance form, course report form about student problems and recommendations, course drop form, warning form and tracking GPA form. The Dean also discussed the approved faculty assessment form, which evaluates each instructor's performance in the course, learning methods, and scientific researchers to develop his performance. Finally, Dr. Wael Al Tureqi delivered a speech to thank the faculty for the great efforts and urged them to exert more efforts in order to enhance the educational experience in the College.
