The College of Medicine holds a number of training courses in surgery in cooperation with Irtiqaa platform

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Harbi, the Department of Surgery conducted a number of courses in cooperation with the Irtiqa platform for grade four students. The courses included "Basic Surgical Instruments Course", "Surgical Sutures, Basic Sutures and Types of Surgical Scars Course".

Dr. Abdullah Al-Munaifi, Head of the Department of Surgery, emphasized the pivotal role of these courses in developing students' practical skills and enhancing their surgical capabilities. They aim to provide them with basic techniques in dealing with surgical instruments, and applying the basic principles of surgical sutures along with familiarizing them with the principles of laparoscopic surgery and a number of other skills that are considered vital in their educational and training career.

More than 65 students participated in the courses, said Dr. Al-Munaifi.
