In the presence of the dean, Dr. Hani al-Quhayz, the College of Science in Zulfi (male and female campus), represented by the Department of Chemistry and in cooperation with the Community Service Unit and the Department of Education in Zulfi, conducted a virtual program for high school students and the department’s.
The program began an opening statement for the head of Department of Chemistry, Dr. Yousef al-Ghamdi, who briefed students about the department and its importance as well as the job opportunities for graduates in this field.
Welcoming everyone, the dean addressed students and motivated them to utilize such events in developing their skills.
Small-scale chemistry projects were presented along with live chemistry experiments.
At the female campus, the vice-dean, Dr. Muna al-Halafi, also highlighted the importance of chemistry and the chemical ingredients of some cosmetics.
