In the presence of Dr. Fayez Al-Fayez, Head of Computer Science, and Information Department, the fourth seminar, for the Academic Year 1442-1443 AH, was held virtually using the blackboard system.
Presented by Dr. Faisal Nafa’a, the title of the seminar is “Usage of Apriori and Clustering algorithms in WEKA tools to mining dataset of traffic accidents”.
The aim of the seminar is to propose a research on how to find ways to investigate mining and aggregation algorithms for new rules through a wide range of rules discovered and based on traffic accident data in Al-Ghat Governorate in Saudi Arabia.
Many tools are used in data mining such as WEKA tools which provide implementations of learning algorithms which can efficiently process any set of data.
A Q&A session was conducted for faculty members which was very informative.
