Under the supervision of the head department of physics, Dr. Ibrahim Sharaani, a graduation project discussion was held by at the College of Science in Zulfi.
The discussion launched by the head’s welcoming speech who thanked the dean for supporting the college’s activities, particularly graduation projects.
Illuminating the methodology adopted in carrying out graduation projects and assigning faculty members for students, Dr. Abdelmajed Abdelmajeed, head of student graduation projects committee, said that all graduation projects are reviewed by the department council before final approval. A progress report of each project is submitted to the council which features what has been discussed with supervisor, percentage of completion, how active the student, research requirements, obstacles, if found.
Commending the excellent work done by the department of physics with graduation projects, the head, Dr. Sharaani encouraged faculty members to engage students in their research as that will allow them to gain more knowledge and skills.

Abdelmohsen Al-Nassar (Galaxies Reclassification)
Wael Saadi (Water purification using nanotechnology)
Mohammed Al-Asmari and Abdelmajeed bin Zaar (The stress and strain parameters of glass materials, how to manufacture them and their advanced applications)
Yazeed bin Shadeed (The level of radon radiation in the soil)
