A workshop on methods of dealing with chemical spills and their risks

The Department of Chemistry conducted a training workshop on "Methods of dealing with chemical spills and their risks" for laboratory staff and science teachers in public education schools in Zulfi Governorate.

The participants were trained on ways to contain risks and reduce potential pollution from laboratories.

Ayman Al-Jawahri explained the different types of risks, as well as the methods of dealing with different chemical spills. Dr. Obaid Al-Dosari, provided a case study of chemical hazards, and Dr. Mahjoub Jabli talked about the safety means in laboratories.

At the end of the workshop, a hands-on training was conducted.
