The Vice-Dean's Office for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research conducted a training course in cooperation with the Department of Computer and Information entitled "Basics of Business Intelligence Using Microsoft Power -BI".
The course was presented by Dr. Sarah Al-Jak and introduced business intelligence and its applications. It also highlighted the areas in which business intelligence was used and the most important basic steps of business intelligence by presenting a comparison between data collection methods and statistical analysis before and after business intelligence.
Business intelligence tools were also discussed along with the Microsoft Power BI tool.
The course aims to introduce the concepts and applications of business intelligence and tools to improve the financial analysis process, the necessary skills to analyze big data and deal with it in an effective and logical manner.
