The Vice-Dean's Office, represented by the Student Guidance and Counseling Unit, conducted in cooperation with the Biology Department, a training course entitled “Study Smart, Not Hard”.
The course was presented by Dr. Mashaal Al-Damigh who explained that the mind continues to learn from the moment of birth until death and receives a huge amount of information during the day. The rate of new information doubles every six months. She also focused on how studying can be effective through your desire to become a better learner along with your believe in yourself and abilities.
She also talked about the forms of learning, including auditory learning and sensory learning, the seven intelligences, including visual (spatial) and physical (sensory). She also pointed out how to prepare a place for studying. The course ended with a discussion and Q&A session.
