Student Guidance and Advising Unit conducts a course on academic advising

The Vice-Dean's Office at the College of Science, represented by the Student Guidance and Advising Unit, conducted, in cooperation with the Biology Department, a course entitled “Your Guide to Academic Advising and the Student Portal”. The course was presented by Ms. Mona Al-Fawzan, who discussed the importance of academic advising and the role of academic advisor.

The necessity of being fully familiar with the university’s regulations and systems was explained and how to access the student portal. Other topics were also addressed such the student’s study plan, add/drop courses, attendance, semester deferment. The course ended with a Q&A session.
