Chemistry Department conducts a seminar entitled "Quantum chemical approaches to tune the charge transport properties of donor-ℼ-acceptor sensitizers and enhancing the efficiency of solar cells"

As part of the Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Committee in the Department of Chemistry at the College of Science, a seminar was held entitled: ((Quantum chemical approaches to tune the charge transport properties of donor-ℼ-acceptor sensitizers and enhancing the efficiency of solar cells)).

The seminar was presented by Prof. Fawz Al-Atwi, a faculty member, and explained the use of computational methods to design dyes based on triphenylamine free of metals for use as a dye to increase the efficiency of dye-sensitized solar cells by increasing the strength of the donor, doping cobalt in titanium dioxide, joint sensitization and the efficiency of these sensitizers.

At the end of the meeting, the floor was opened for Q&A session.
