The Vice-Dean's Office for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, represented by the Laboratories and Information Technology Unit held, in cooperation with the Biology Department, a workshop entitled "Bacteriology Laboratory".
The workshops was presented by the student Saud Al-Sahli, who explained some practical techniques for detecting and diagnosing potential bacterial infections. He also explained the methods of using different equipment to identify the sample and make a bacterial culture to help identify the types of pathogenic bacteria. Some samples of different types of pathogenic bacteria were displayed to clarify the differences between these different types, which enhances understanding of the methods of infection and prevention of different types of bacteria. This highlights the role of scientific research in accurately identifying pathogens according to reliable and safe scientific procedures.
