Under the patronage of the Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Khalid Al-Ofaysan, and in the presence of the deans of both College of Education and College of Science: Dr. Nasser Al-Othman and Dr. Hani Al-Quhayz, a 5000 meters run was held by the Deanship for Student Affairs for scholarship-students in the Zulfi college complex. 25 students participated in the race judged by Mr. Manea Al-Manea, a referee at the Saudi Athletics Federation. At the end of the race, partners and referees were honored by the dean. Third place winner was awarded bronze medal; second place got silver medal and the first place winner was a warded a golden medal and a trophy. This activity reflects to what extent the deanship is very concerned to encourage scholarship-students to engage in sports activities. Mr. Nasser Al-Hanu, Head of Sports and Scouts Department, extended his thanks to the Dean, Dr. Al-Ofaysan for patronizing this race as well as to all partners who have contributed in the success of the race. Dr. Al-Ofaysan thanked MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren and Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih for their support and follow-up.
