As an extension to the programs the Deanship of Student Affairs offer in order to ready students to the labor market, The Deanship held a workshop entitled: “Spreading the Culture of Freelance: Your Way to Become a Successful Freelancer” on Monday 8/11/1435 in co-operation with Almiawiyyah Fund. The workshop was presented by his Excellency Mr. Nasser Alharbi from Almiawiyyah Fund. The workshop discussed the causes that make citizens raise their income, and the way projects are managed as there has been discussed and presented several ways and one of them is the comprehensive study for a project which makes it successful. A quite number of the participating students expressed their impression about this workshops and the benefits they gained from it, and they desired for the workshop to be presented to their classmates who did not take part in this workshop. At the end of the workshop, his Excellency the Dean of student Affairs Dr. Hamad Abdullah Alghemeizi expressed thanks to Almiawiyyah Fund for this extraordinary initiative that offered such a great opportunity for the university students and which contributes a great deal to preparing students for the labor market. He also offered thanks to Mr. Naser Alharbi for presenting this workshop which achieved the principles of partnership between the university and Almiawiyyah Fund as part of the directives of his Highness the University Rector Dr. Khaled Almuqrin who always stresses that the students should be in the position of care and be given different programs and lectures to hone their skills.
