As an extension to the role the Deanship of Student Affairs plays in different fields (of which creativity and patents ) and in order to achieve its message, his Excellency the UNIVERSITY vice President for Educational Affairs Prof. Dr. Mohammad Othman Alrokban opened the student workshop “Talent, Creativity and Patents” which comes within the plan and preparation of the Deanship of Student Affairs for the Fifth Scientific Conference for Female and Male Higher Education Students in the training hall in Deanship of Society Service and Continuous Education. The workshop started with an introduction from his Excellency the Deanship vice Dean for student activities and the colleges coordinator for the conference Mr. Khaled Ibrahim Alofeisan. In his speech, he welcomed his excellency the University vice PREsident for Educational Affairs, the trainers and the participating students. Then, his Excellency the University vice President for Educational Affairs delivered his speech in which he urged the students to pay attention to this crucial field and to pay extra efforts as he ended his speech expressing thanks to the trainers and Deanship os Student Affairs. Afterwards, the two trainers: Mr. Saud Alsheiel and Mr. Mohammad Alhajri started the workshop with displaying the goals and ways of invention and positive thinking in production and what the market needs, talent areas and qualities and features of the talented. The workshop was so impressive to the students and they participated and showed good impression about it. His Excellency the Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Hamad Abdullah Alghemeizi stressed that this worksop comes within the Deanship preparations for the Fifth Scientific Conference and to provide whatever the students need of training courses to improve their practical and learning skills. Dr. Alghemeizi urged all the female and male university students to take part in the programs and activities the Deanship offers as such programs are so beneficial and have positive impact on their capabilitiesm and he also urged them to display their talents and abilities through participating in the activities of the Fifth Scientific Conference. Dr. Alghemeizi expressed his thanks to the university vice President for opening this workshop, and he also offered thanks to King Abdulaziz Establishment and Its Men for sponsoring talent and creativity and for cooperating in presenting such a workshop. This workshop represents one of the aspects of putting the agreement into effect that the University signed with the Establishment. He also expressed his thanks to the trainers for their creativity in presenting the workshop and to Deanship of Society Service and Continuous Education for their constant co-operation with the Deanship which is one of the examples of cooperation between the University units.
