The Deanship of Student Affairs at the University of Majmaa has launched the University Rector’s Award competition for the memorization of the Holy Quran and the Sunnah for all students.
The Contest aims to assert the role of the Kingdom in serving the Quran and the Sunnah, a role it has undertaken to spread the message of Islam and peace all over the world.
The contest is divided into 4 branches in Quran and Sunnah on 4 levels.
The Supervisory Committee designed the competition to be suitable for all students so that they can all participate.
“The competition of memorizing the Holy Qur'an and the Sunnah for the Rector's award should encourage students to memorize Quran which can benefit students in this world and the hereafter,” said the Dean of Student Affairs at the University of Majmaah Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Ofaisan said,
Dr. Khalid stressed that the competition aims spread the teaching of Quran among university students , the principle of positive competitions, and encourage students to know more about the Quran and Sunnah.
Dr. Al-Ofaisan expressed his deep appreciation to the University Rector Dr. Khalid Bin Saad Al-Muqrin, for his ongoing support of students. His thanks were also extended to the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ahmad Aromaih for his supportive follow up.
