The Deanship of Student Affairs participated in the 4th Media Forum held in the Kingdom of Morocco in Casablanca and Rabat during the period from 3-10 /05/1439.
The Forum was organized by the World Federation of Muslim Scouts and the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) in coordination with its Federation of Universities of the Islamic World.
The forum included a number of training sessions and workshops in the field of media (electronic crimes on media and ways to address them) (websites and their role in enhancing intellectual security) (insulting Islam in Western media) (educational methods in promoting the concept of patriotism).
The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Afisan, headed the delegation of Majmaah University comprising of many students from different colleges.
The program consisted of training sessions, workshops, educational visits to Morocco's historic and tourist attractions, as well as official visits to the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Morocco, ISESCO and a number of historical places.
The aim of this trip was to benefit from the experience of universities in various fields, including scientific research and exchange of information among students of the universities of the Islamic world.
The delegation comprised of the deans of student affairs and a number of students from universities in Saudi Arabia.
The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Ofisan, expressed his appreciation to the University Rector, Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al-Muqrin, for his ongoing support of the programs and activities of the Deanship.
Dr. Al-Ofisan has also thanked the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ahmed bin Ali Al Rumaih, for his supervision and follow up.
